This year in an attempt to reduce our carbon footprint, Grand River Kayak has decided to make available for sale “environmentally friendly green water bottles by Nalgene” and strongly encourages all participants to bring their own water in reusable, recyclable bottles. GRAND RIVER CLEAN UP: New for this year is an opportunity to save money and save the local environment!
This season we are offering $10.00 off per tour, per group for individuals motivated enough to fill a grocery bag worth of garbage from the Grand River, Sulphur Creek or Lake Erie. Don’t forget to ask for your bag! The money will be donated to an environmental cause at the end of the season!
GO GREEN!: Conservation partnership for Grand River Watershed protection!
Working in conjunction with a local conservation group and Niagara College students, soil erosion, areas of concern and invasive species were identified along the Grand River from Cayuga to Dunnville. This is the start of a long term commitment between both parties to protect and improve the local waterway.

Grand River Kayak continues to attempt to acquire kayaks whenever possible from Canadian manufacturers to not only encourage our country’s own economic growth, but reduce global transportation emissions. Look into the near future as Grand River Kayak begins to carry kayaks made from 100% recycled materials!!!
