National Paddling Week 2015

What is National Paddling Week all about?

This week has been created to boost awareness of our national recreational paddling sports, safety measures, skill development, and heritage! National Paddling Week wants to encourage as many Canadians to get into a canoe, kayak or onto a board and be counted during this week to show our national commitment to the fun, the benefits, and challenge of paddling!"
 - From the National Paddling Week website

To celebrate National Paddling Week, Grand River Kayak is hosting several courses, tours, and paddling events. The tours and lessons offered during National Paddling Week have been discounted to encourage paddlers both old and new to come out and participate!
Of particular note are the "Rescue Skills Refresher" workshop (a FREE refresher clinic for anyone who has previously taken "Intro to Rescue" or a Paddle Canada lesson with us) and the Paddle Canada "Introduction to Sea Kayak Skills" certification course on Sunday, June 14th (offered at a significant discount off the regular price).
