WEATHER UPDATE FOR WEEKEND OF JUNE 24th & 25th

DO YOU HAVE RESERVATIONS WITH US THIS WEEKEND??

Does NOT sound like favourable conditions to be on or near the River this weekend.
Please watch our Facebook feed as we make decisions about what, if any, programs will continue to run.
At this point, tomorrow morning's Intro to Kayak Lesson has been cancelled, and there's a very good chance that all rentals could be cancelled until we have a chance to assess the situation in the morning.
Sunday's Intro to Rescue Lesson **should** be okay, but we will continue to monitor weather and flooding and make a decision as soon as practical for everyone.
Stay safe out there, folks!
Thanks for your understanding.

"Northern portions of the Grand River watershed received more than 100mm of rainfall during the early hours of Friday morning. Flows in the Grand River have responded with near record levels, unseen since December 2008.
Recreational users of the river are advised flows will be much higher than normal, similar to spring conditions therefore may not be safe for recreational activities such as paddling or fishing."
