Booking Your Tours and Lessons

October 1st, 2014 - PLEASE NOTE: Our 2014 schedule for tours and lessons is now over for the season. If you are inquiring about kayak, SUP, or canoe rentals after October 1st, please be aware that our availability of rental equipment changes on a daily basis as we have begun selling our rental and demo fleet. We do not accept reservations too far in advance at this time of year, as boat sales take precedence over rentals, and the weather can be unpredictable. NEW FOR 2014 - You can now reserve nearly all tours, lessons and rentals directly through the website, all day, every day! We hope this new functionality helps our customers by making the process easy, efficient and accessible.  If you'd rather talk to us on the phone or book in person in the store, that's FANTASTIC, too!! We HIGHLY recommend making reservations for all tours, lessons and rentals to avoid disappointment. One of several things can happen - a program can be full or rentals can be sold out, or if a program has had insufficient advanced registrations, it may have been cancelled. We are always happy to have drop-in customers, but be aware that you may not be able to participate in a tour or lesson, even if it has been scheduled for the dates and time listed on the website. Of course, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have prior to booking your program(s) with us. When you are ready to book your guided tour or lesson, you now have the following options: 1) Book online 24/7. Choose the date(s) from the drop-down menu and enter the quantity you would like to purchase. Any missing dates from the drop-down choices is either full or cancelled. lessons_part_1Quantities are limited for all tours and lessons. If a particular date will not allow you to enter the quantity you are requesting, that means that the availability for that date is limited due to other registrations for that particular date. Please note that although all programs have a maximum number of participants, reservations can also be limited to available boats. In the "notes" field you can make special requests, such as a particular type of kayak, or canoe, if applicable. We will do our best to fulfill all requests, but these can not be guaranteed, and will be handled in the order they are submitted. lessons_part_2All tours and lessons are priced per person.  If you prefer to take a guided tour in a tandem kayak or canoe, you should purchase two (2) spots for that tour, and request a tandem kayak or canoe in the notes field. Proceed to the online check-out. Select "Tours, Lessons, Rentals" for your delivery method. Bring your printed receipt with you as proof of purchase. You can also download, print and complete your Liability Waiver and Program Registrations. If you fill these out ahead of time and bring them with you, it will streamline the check-in process. lessons_part3 2) Via e-mail or telephone. You can always send us an e-mail, or call us with the details of the program you are interested in. We will check availability for the date(s) you are interested in and get back to you. Your registration is not considered confirmed until your tour or lesson is paid for. This can be done with a credit card via e-mail or over the phone, during regular business hours. You can download and print the Liability Waiver and Program Registration forms from the website, or we can e-mail them to you as PDF files. Filling these forms out in advance and bringing them with you will save time during check-in on the day of your tour or lesson. 3) In person.  Naturally, you can book in person in the store. In addition to paying with a credit card, you can also use cash or debit in person.
