Level 1

The focus of the beginner level class is learning proper paddling techniques and getting comfortable with the kayak. This is a fun, relaxing and more social class, great to familiarize yourself with the sport of kayaking! The exercise component will be mostly building paddling endurance, and exercises to assist learning forward stroke, sweep stroke, bow and stern rudder, reverse paddling, all the while working on focus and balance. You will be a more confident paddler at the end of 8 sessions.
