TIME : 6:00pm - 8:00pm

Beginner friendly, family friendly, easy and lots of FUN!
We'll spend a few minutes at the start getting you comfortable on the SUP board and giving some pointers on paddling straight and turning, and then we're off to explore Sulphur Creek from a unique perspective - standing on the water!
During a leisurely paddle of approx. 1.5 - 2 hours, you may encounter blue heron, snapping turtles, American bald eagles, cormorants, egrets, kingfishers, beavers, deer, various falcons, and many different fish, just to name a few…..and Byng Island Conservation Area campers!

Who knows, you might even spot “Muddy” the World Famous Grand River Mudcat !
At least two pairs of nesting American Bald Eagles have recently moved into the area.

Paddle directly from Grand River Kayak, upstream towards Byng Park. We will pass a "fish ladder", a man-made structure that was built with the intention of helping fish species swimming upriver from Lake Erie bypass the several low head weirs at Dunnville to find their way upstream to their spawning grounds.

This tour departs and returns to Grand River Kayak.

The current in the Lower Grand River is very slow, and it is a simple matter to paddle both ways…no need for a shuttle!

Our Guided Tour fees always include all of your equipment, the services of a professional and friendly guide, and any shuttles that may be required.
