SUP (Stand Up Paddleboarding) is the newest craze in watersports and is growing faster than any other segment in the market. Grand River Kayak was one of the very first shops to bring SUP into Ontario about 6 years ago, and we continue to be one of the leaders in board sales, rentals, and SUP programs like SUPyoga and SUPfit, and we're STILL one of the most affordable places to take lessons and rent a SUP board or two!
And it’s no wonder : one part surfing, one part kayaking = 100% fun !
Learn proper stance and paddling techniques.
We’ll cover the basics including board construction and design, safety equipment, transporting and handling your board.

Don’t get left out….. Catch the wave !

Skills Covered:

  • Getting on and off the board
  • Proper Stance and Balance
  • Forward Stroke
  • Directional Control

LEARN HOW TO HAVE THE MOST FUN AND GET THE MOST OUT OF YOUR SUP ExPERIENCE!
