Soak up the sun while you paddle in "50 shades of blue" for this once in a lifetime experience!

Ladies, join me on the trip of your lifetime: an expedition style "woman's only" sea kayaking trip through the Brigantine Cays. Designed for women with basic or beginner kayaking skills, this trip will be the perfect combination of paddling and relaxation.
The total length of this trip is approximately 43km, which is about 12km per day of paddling or 3 hours, and includes 2 day trips to explore sandbars!

On this 4 day, 3 night trip, you'll paddle through mangroves, on iridescent turquoise waters and swim/snorkel in 80F water as crystal clear as your swimming pool. Camping will take place on 3 different islands as we gentle navigate along the Cays, so no two nights will be the same!

Paddling on this trip is close to shore and in water so shallow you can almost always see the bottom. Just don't forget your waterproof camera because along this route we will see many starfish and stingrays and maybe even catch the fireflies at dusk!

Our first stop for lunch includes a lookout over the Cays where the views endless and the iguanas are plentiful. You'll experience unforgettable sunsets and invigorating sunrises! Spend an afternoon on a sandbar doing yoga, play around on an SUP (stand up paddleboard), read a book, catch some sun or snorkelling, you decide!

NOTE: If you have a bit more experience and are looking for a trip with a bit more paddling with the opportunity to see more iguanas and swimming pigs as well as finish at a wonderful restaurant with amazing sea-views, then check out our "Island Iguanas" trip the following week. Just a  reminder though, that the "Island Iguanas" trip is a mixed trip, not women's only and has a little less "down" time. Looking forward to paddling with

SAMPLE ITINERARY (subject to change):

  • Day 1: Pick up at your accommodation where you are then taken to meet us. We'll store your belongings, fit you in your kayak and distribute the rest of the gear. Then off we go to our put in location so we can depart on the Brigantine trip. We'll paddle through some mangroves as you get familiar with your kayak and simple paddle strokes. Then we'll stop for lunch with amazing views and get frisky with a few iguanas. Then back into the kayaks and paddle a little longer to our first nights camp to experience a beautiful sunset!
  • Day 2: We'll break camp mid-morning and continue along the Brigantines just a little further where we'll set up camp again. Here the plan is to have lunch then take a day trip further into the Cays where the water is very shallow. This day trip is optional, so plan on a good book if you'd like a little quiet or alone time!
  • Day 3: Once again we'll break camp mid-morning and paddle nonchalantly back our last campsite. From here, you'll have the opportunity to join us for yet another day trip and maybe do a little yoga or SUP on a sandbar.
  • Day 4: Once again we'll break camp mid-morning. If you missed the sandbar the previous day, you'll get the opportunity to see it here where we'll plan to stop for lunch. Then we'll navigate our way back into the mangroves back to our put in location where our shuttle awaits us. Here you'll be taken back to your hotel where a shower and cold libations are welcomed!
